I wanted Denver to sign Shaun Smith during the preseason. He is a pretty good player, just has a serious attitude problem.

I wouldn't put too much stock on that, if there's the rumor going around that Larry Johnson will be done. That means there'll be an opening on the 53 man roster.

Of course, I also don't know how serious Rudy's injury is, so there's the possibility there'll be 2 openings.

Maybe they meant to sign Shaun Smith last week but they accidentally clicked on Kenny Smith on the free agent screen and didn't realize the mistake until gameday.
