Off Season Lets Talk Guns
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.


Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?



Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

Went shooting tonight with a co-worker.

After some practice and "foolin" around clips. I got to business.

With my Glock 22, 40 cal. at 21 ft. I shot 2 clips single shot with about a second between shots (I was counting) and got all most of the 31 shots in the bulls-eye. there were only 11 shots outside the bulls eye but within the 2nd ring around it.

I tried my hand at "2 in the chest and 1 in the head" with all 3 shots within 2 seconds. I didn't do as well, but I hit the "chest" and "head" with all of my 31 shots except 5. Those 5 shots were just outside the "head" and I consider them a miss.

I was able to increase my accuracy with my Ruger LCP (380 cal) with all shots (1 second or less count) within the 2nd ring of the bulls eye.

I'm getting better!!! but I'd still like to be able to get 31 bulls eye with slow single shots and better groupings with the 3 shot.

I'm hoping to get a Glock 27 soon. I've shot them quite a bit and know they are jumpy, but not more so than the Ruger LCP. It'll take quite a bit of practice to get good groupings.

I can't wait for Spring to get here to I can get my Mosin 91/30 out for some fun again.

Thanks for the post, sold out. I swear Cabela's puts out about 20 boxes at a time and they are gone in 20 seconds, pricks.
