****Official Royals Vs Rays Gamethread 5/2****

Guthrie on the mound. Lets get the brooms out

Bad Mojo here, but I think I'm 0-4 in gamethreads for a sweep over the last 2 years. But I need to get the first loss of the year out of the way

AL might correct me on this. But I think they only have to get through 4.5 innings with the Royals leading.

You have to wonder if there's a gentleman's agreement between managers and the umpires that if someone has a lead after 5, everyone goes home.

I was JUST thinking along those lines, although it was more of "I wonder if the umps have decided ahead of time that this will be a 5-inning game." I was thinking they might not tell the managers, though.

Need a lot of hustle on and off the field, no warmups, etc. Basically all the tactics we instituted in high school baseball early in the season because we were all freezing our nuts off.
