***Official Knowmo2724 homer-2000 thread***

Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

Just to add to Tebow Fevor, Kerry Byrne of Cold Hard Football Facts emailed me with this last night: In four starts, Tebow now has two fourth-quarter comebacks from at least 13 points down. In John Elway's career, guess how many he had. Two.

Luck may be more polished than Tebow, but he doesn't have the heart, desire, toughness, and will to win that Tebow does. Tebow is the most battle tested QB to come out in decades, he has played in big games and has never been afraid of the moment.

Denver has their franchise QB and he is going to be a thorn in your side for years to come. He has all the tools to become a great passer in the NFL. You won't believe your eyes when you see Tebow play next season, he is going to be a very rare talent, the likes of which the NFL has never seen.
Wha?

No one is talking about Tebow if not for a miracle onsides and sack strip by Denver's defense.

I was p*ssed off and annoyed for the entire game.

Nobody should ever compare Tebow at this point to Elway. For starters, it's just stupid and does neither of them any favors.

Yes, Tebow has the "IT factor" and a never say die attitude with the ability to create something from nothing. But, until he improves as a passer... it won't matter. A scrambling QB doesn't need to take 8 sacks - throw the damn ball away.

The Broncos also hamstrung him by trading their best WR and then being incredibly conservative in the game plan. It's the winless Dolphins - sure, treat Tebow with kid's gloves if you like, but open it up early.

Thankfully, Denver won the game... Prater missed two FGs, but was good on the onside (thanks MIA player for muffing that one) and clutch in OT.

Tebow did everything right in the final minutes. Hopefully, as things go forward, they'll open things up early. That game plan will NOT work going forward, the schedule is very tough the remaining 10 games.

I'm glad the media has something positive to say now about Denver, that's refreshing, but there's nothing that is more clear now than 24 hours ago. They still don't know what they have...

The Vikings are the worst remaining team on their schedule and the only team under .500 overall - and that game @ MIN won't be an easy one to win. Tebow (counting yesterday) gets 5 of his first 7 games this year on the road, it will be tough and they'll need to play incredibly different and much better than they did yesterday.

vs Lions (5-2)
@ Raiders (4-3)
@ Chiefs (3-3)
vs Jets (4-3)
@ Chargers (4-2)
@ Vikings (1-6)
vs Bears (4-3)
vs Patriots (5-1)
@ Bills (4-2)
vs Chiefs (3-3)

The last 3 minutes of the game and OT don't change how disgusted I was for 57 minutes. Yes, the finish was exciting and he can be amazing to watch, but he has a long road ahead of him and I'll be impressed and comfortable with him "being the QBotF" if they can go 5-5 during the final 10. If they can't go 5-5 ... which many of you will say is impossible (and that's fine, it certainly looks to be impossible), then I don't think they've answered the QB riddle.

All true, but he still had to do something once they got the onside...

KnowMo is just out of his mind right now, and that's fine. All great comebacks require luck and something crazy happening. But, as you'll see from my previous post... Tebow needs to show a lot more than what I saw in 3 minutes and OT before I'm comfortable.

There were 3 passes that sailed a bit that would have been HUGE yardage gainers in regulation, specifically the overthrow to Decker. Tebow can make some throws, he just has to slow it down mentally a bit. We'll see what happens over the next few weeks, it's a road trip that will show no mercy.

Y'all have to excuse KnowMo2724 (a.k.a. Cutler[4 random numbers that don't mean crap])! He was like this on the Raiders message board he went on as well. Dude is the ultimate definition of a homer in regards to his Broncos.

I'm hating Tebow less and less.

It is difficult for me to dislike his positive attitude.

Anyone comparing Tebow, who couldn't throw downfield if his life depended on it, to John Elway deserves to have their eyes ripped out by vultures.

This Teblow audition is going to prove one thing, and one thing only, he's going to carry a clipboard the rest of his NFL career.
