hopefully the new dude can fix some shit, but honestly I have no clue about Gibbs.

Is he going to maintain the same 3-4 base or change it up a bit?
Gibbs was the DC for the Saints before Greg Williams got there.

So...

Well I read some article how the 3-4 is pretty rare, but the 2 gap 3-4 that romeo installed is a sub minority of the minority (the rare of the rare)

So I was just curious...I'm not familiar with what the saints ran

Gibbs said yes? New definition of stupid. Who would want responsibility for this mess?

Maybe I am delusional but perhaps if we used a more standard (better?) defensive scheme we could actually see some pressure and decent D...But with shit sausage and turd burger in the rotational mix with the DB's....**** if I know.

People exaggerate how bad this defense would be under the right coaching.

The #1 problem on defense by a mile is coaching, not coordinating defenses. This is a competitive defense. It has potential to be a terrific defense under a good head coach and a 1-gap 3-4 principle. Which is one of the reasons I still love the idea of Horton or Gus Bradley. Both would install a 1-gap 3-4 that I believe we would very quickly transition into.
