Does anyone know yet if this will be an Imax movie? I would assume so with all the hype and considering the 2 bootleg trailers were on Imax movies.

That was my first reaction. First, though, I'll take a HD version of this trailer.

Yes, certain scenes were even filmed in IMAX. Warner Brothers is one of the big supporters of the IMAX format. Speed Racer is being released in IMAX as well.

I don't understand the whole IMAX obsession. The picture is moderately bigger than the biggest theatres. IMO, the only way it really surpasses regular movie theatres is in it's sound. The sound makes it almost worth seeing in IMAX.

It almost looks too good. I'm prepared to be disappointed. Especially with all the hype around it.

This is interesting...the original 1989 Batman trailer compared to the last Dark Knight trailer.
Very similiar... http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1813453

If this is to Batman Begins what X2 was to X-Men or Spider-Man 2 was to the first, I may die of sheer holy shittedness.

Possibly....but Batman Begins was far superior to either X-Men or Spider Man. BTW, the rumour is, The Dark Knight is nearly 3 hours long. Im going to guess its at least 2 1/2 hours.
