Auburn has been in the SEC West since the SEC split into two divisions. What are you talking about?

It WANTED to join the East (for recruiting advantages), but that didn't happen.

Hypocritson is in fine form today.

Somehow he has translated the fact that the Big XII has decided to play its bball tourney in KC as meaning that KC has somehow rejected Mizzou. Mizzou could call tomorrow and schedule a game at an available date at Sprint.

Somehow, according to Hypocritson, KC making money=rejection of MU.

Go figure.

I'm not defending Wickedson, but wasn't the talk about the SEC Bball tourney, not just a random game?

Sprint Center granted the Big 12 the right of refusal for the conference tourney. I suppose the S.E.C. Could change the weekend they play their conf tourney and then they could petition Kansas City to play the tourney here.

But I don't think anyone sees that happening.

You realize the difference between right of first refusal and right of refusal, right?

If the Big 12 has two options years at the end of its contract with the Sprint Center for the Big 12 tourney. It has first rights to that weekend.

If the Big 12 chooses to play those tourneys in Dallas or OKC, it loses that right of refusal. Pretty basic scheduling concept.

SEC tourney much more likely to be in St. Louis in those years, anyway. But I'd be fine with my state hosting basketball tournaments on both sides of the state the same weekend. More money for us.

Kansas City hates KU as evidenced by the fact that I have first right of refusal to eat the sandwich I just bought.

Oh yeah, and they agreed to this junior payout until 2017, so schools like Iowa State and Mississippi State will earn SUBSTANTIALLY more than them for the foreseeable future.

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! What bitches for taking such a desperate deal.
The junior membership is why Missouri balked at the Big 10 offer.

I'm probably remembering this incorrectly, but I didn't think MU had an offer from the Big 10.
