The Omaha Beef have their own T.O...
...well, not really, but we do have Former Chiefs and Mizzou Tiger wide reciever Will Franklin starting for us. I meant to post that here when it happened. The Beef had our first game Friday night against the Wichita Wild. It was a great game and a nailbiter at the end but the Beef came out on top. Will Franklin hauled in a TD pass from James McNear:



The Beef are the thing that gets me through the offseason. They play in the same league as the Allen Wranglers (The IFL) where Terrel Owens is playing right now.

He's a part owner of the team. He only plays in their home games. There's highlights of him out on Youtube and their website. Basically, he must be doing it as a favor for somebody. His first game he was targeted 5 times, caught 3 for TD's and deflected one for an INT. But, all their home games are sold out...of course.

Beef played them last week in a pre-seaon exhibition game. Beef won, but I guess it was a pretty close game.

The article says he can make up to 500K with them...I honestly don't see how that's possible, but he is a part owner of the team. But I'm here to tell you, these teams don't pull in that kind of revenue typically. At least I don't think the Beef do.
