Dishwasher help
Does anyone here know anything about dishwashers? I don't know if mine is having an issue or not but when it fills with water it sure doesn't seem like it is putting much water in the tub. My dishes come out clean but it just seems like it has a lot more water in the tub when we installed it 4 years ago.

Right now there is absolutely no way the float would ever rise because the water level never touches it. I have checked the water supply inlet and it is completely unobstructed.

I'm also wondering if it is putting more water in during the cycle or not. When I run it empty I never seem to hear the water going in after the initial fill.

I've fixed most issues we've had with appliances by punching the make-model and problem into youtube. There are usually more than 1 option.

If you have an error code, you can easily figure it out with a google or youtube search. Most repairs aren't that tough to make, and a lot of times it is something silly like a baby sock in a washer drain or something plugged with food/grease.

called the local parts shop and they seem to think the water inlet valve is just going out. I mentioned a high pitched whine when it starts and he was quick to say the valve.
