Facebook Thinks I'm A Moderate

I saw an article on Facebook that apparently shows you where you stand in their eyes regarding US politics:

https://www.abc15.com/news/national/...nd-on-politics

If you’d like to check where Facebook thinks you stand on politics, take the following steps:

Go to your settings –> ads –> your information –> your categories –> and look at the category of US politics

Categories include very liberal, liberal, moderate, conservative or very conservative.

Under 'Your Information' you will see that 'About you' is default and 'Your categories' is the second option. You'll have to click on 'Your categories' to see the 'US Politics' category and your supposed political stance will be in parentheses. Apparently this is how Facebook determines your political view.

It's a cheek riser. You need it if you use an optic or a scope.

I don't like the old school iron sights. They don't work well with my old man eyes.

I wouldn't go that far, but it's a damned nice gun and a blast to shoot.

And for whatever reason, even though it takes magazines and shoots bullets that are bigger and nastier than either an AR or AK, the liberal loons don't consider it to be an "assault weapon*." One of the northern suburbs enacted a ban this past week, and the M1A wasn't on the list of banned guns.

Hypothetical here... the shit has hit the fan, mass chaos in the streets and authorities arent able to contain it... you only get one of your rifles and one of your handguns to make it out of the city alive

Which two do you choose?

The 16" AR with the red dot and the CZ Shadow.

Why the AR over the Springfield or AK?

I shoot the AR more than either of the others, so I'm more familiar with handling it and maintaining it. It has quality aftermarket parts which I've installed myself, whereas my AK is a $500 basic model. The AR is also lighter, so it's easier to carry, and the rounds are smaller so it's easy to carry more.

Now, if it was going to be a prolonged type of thing, I'd probably opt for the AK, although the stopping power of the .308 can't be discounted if you want to disable vehicles. But just to get the hell out, I'm going with the AR.

If that day ever comes, I just hope I'm home, and not at work. My rifles won't do me much good locked up 35 miles away.

You'll at least have something to GET you home with, as I recall

I just wanted to see what the ultimate value you placed on that fine collection was... it helps inform my opinion

Those aren't just clips. They're 30 round fully semi automatic assault clips!
