Chiefs helmets
I noticed this in the Bowe pic thread. Check this out:



Why do the Raiders have a facemask clip on the front that says their name, "Raiders," but the Chiefs have a clip that says the brand of the helmet, "Riddell"? Are the Hunts just too ****ing cheap to get those customized or what?

Also, that white thing on the back of our helmets on the bottom. It's just a white piece of plastic. Why not put "Chiefs" on that like other teams put their names on it?

Riddel has exclusive advertising with the NFL in relation to the helmets.

If its a brand other than Riddel, the front tab above the facemask will have the team name on it.

Because GATORADE and SPRINT/NEXTEL was too long of words to fit in those spaces...
