Really Cam Newton

http://tracking.si.com/2012/10/21/ca...thers-cowboys/

“The past couple of games have been the same script, by the same director,” Newton said. “It’s kind of getting boring.”

“This taste, this vibe — I’m not buying it, man. And I don’t know what it is, but something’s going to have to change. Something’s going to have to change real fast.”

“I’m going to bring in a suggestion box. And I want your suggestions in that suggestion box, because I sure don’t know. I really don’t,” Newton said

“We just find a way to keep the game close just to see what happens at the end,” Newton said. “I’m getting tired of it, and that’s not a formula to win. Domination is a formula to win.”

give me a break. Lets see you at 23 with millions of dollars playing a kids game. Too many cases where these young kids get handed millions of dollars to play a game and we expect them to mature and act like leaders when they're still a kid mentally. Players admit it so I'm just going to go with what the players admit.

A true leader rallies the troops on the field. It's not about taking it on his shoulders after the game. It's taking it on his shoulders during the game.

I'm not saying it's not important to be a leader off of the field but, it pales in comparison to on the field.

I assume this is thread you were talking about? I'm not seeing any evidence or talk of Cam calling out the GM.

Why? Because I value leadership and brains in a quarterback the most? There's a lesson to be learned here and we don't want another Cassel. We better get the right guy. Arm strength etc. is great but it pales in comparison to what is most important for quarterbacks.

I don't watch enough Panther's football to say for sure what all their problems are but I fully support Cam on this statement if they're running some type of martyball system.

Hate it when a team's goal is this defeatist attitude of "Just keep it close until the 4th. Maybe we'll get lucky and squeak out a win." Cam is 100% spot on that's not how you do it.

What the **** have they put around Newton? JFC. Their offensive line outside of Jordan Gross and Ryan Kalil is shit and Kalil is on the IR. They continually trot out shit at WR outside of Steve Smith.....who is basically like a midget Randy Moss. The GM went out and paid a shit ton of money for 3 RBs that they don't ****ing use. And all of the money that they've put into that defense has amounted to dick. I'd be pissed if I was Newton as well.

I think the problem is that they are not running the ball enough with the RBs. they have Williams, Stewart, and Tolbert and they ran the ball 21 times. Six of those runs were from Cam. It's not marty ball.

they gave that DE like 100 million cash and hes not even a top 5 or even a top 10 DE in the league lol

then Beason, Anderson, Davis all eat up a shitload of money as well for being 3 overrated LBers.

They are essentially the Chiefs, lots over overrated/overhyped talent that doesnt translate well on the field at actually stopping something

This

but, their problem isn't the defense. It's the offense.

I've watched two Panther games this year - NYG and Seattle, and Newton was horrible. He needs to look in the mirror before he points at anybody else.

Auburn with Cam= National Champs
Auburn without Cam= bottom feeders of the SEC

I don't think he was overrated in college.

and there goes their GM.......

THAT is the biggest problem with the Panthers.
The dude gives out TONS of money to under performers and they can't ever afford anyone good.

Cam Newton is FAR from the problem in Carolina.
