Thank you Denver Nuggets

For bringing exciting basketball back to Denver. You played arguably the best team in the NBA in the first round and possibly the eventual champ. Except for game three this was a well played series. Next year the Nuggets will be a force to reckon with in the west and if they can improve thier guard position they will be able to make a serious run to the NBA title. Thanks again

I just can't get into basketball. I've tried.

But congrats to your team, DC. How do you root for a Denver team, anyway? Are you a spy?

Earl Boykins if fine tho seriously they lost tonight ...lost the series 4-1 but except for game 3 they were in every game...they had a good run at the end of the season (24-5) and I think next year will be more exciting

I didn't realize the ABA was still around...does Dr. J still play for 'em?

I wasn't really into basketball till I started following the nuggets in 95 when they beat Seattle in the first round....I wasn't a Hockey fan till Denver got a hockey team...i think the key is to have a local team and they have to be somewhat successful

I hope KC gets a team, just for the national exposure, but I will *never* watch the NBA more than an occasional stop in the middle of a game when there's nothing else on. And that usually lasts about ten seconds. I can't stand the style of ball played and I can't stand the style of player who plays it. To me, it's far and away the worst of the "mainstream" sports. I'd love an NHL team, I obviously love the Chiefs and I even follow the Royals as bad as they are, but the NBA could rot for all I care.

I've always hated the Nuggets even when they were bad. Their name is reeruned. Why don't they just change their name to the Denver Turds

I would rather have an NHL team anyday.

Hell, I will buy season tix to the Arena League FBall team before I buy a single game to the NBA. I haven't truly enjoyed it since the first MJ put up triple doubles on a regular basis and fought against Larry Bird almost annually.

That's bullshit. Gold isn't even the most commonly mined ore in the Rockies. That's like visiting North Dakota so you can see the coconut trees.

(Okay, not quite like that, but along the same lines...)
