....sigh.... At least it was obvious Cena was winning tonight...

Cena gets pissed at Del Rio for cashing in MITB last week, then beats Punk because of Nash's involvement. FU, Cena.

Am excited to see where they go from here (with Punk/Nash/HHH, couldn't care less about Cena-ADR). Don't know what exactly the point of having Funkman hold back Del Rio is, though.

I don't think that is a race joke at all. The way that Del Rio usually says his name at the beginning of promos sounds an awful lot like the word 'Dorito.'

Swagger v Riley aside, tonight's Raw was pretty much on par with most recent PPV's in terms of quality.

I wish they would let Punk go and be himself....scripting him seems so out of sync. And quite frankly, while not being a Cena mark, the whole "we hate the good guy Cena" is making me want to like him. Why does WWE manage to take a perfectly set up scenario and toss rotten eggs on it?

How would you be booking this angle differently? Punk is officially the major focus of the show, with long-term storytelling going towards his storyline. There are a number of ways that I'd book Cena differently, but they seem to be handling the Punk story about as well as they can, if you subscribe to the thinking that they are building to Punk vs HHH at WM28.

If that is what they are doing I am cool with it...but anytime Nash is involved I am highly suspicious. And even worse I am concerned that in some point and time Sean Waltman and Shawn Michaels are going to show up.

The only thing I am sure of is that Scott Hall won't be.

I really, really, really love the idea of these two being together right now.

Truth has very quickly become one of the best things going on Raw. Him and Miz should be gold together, and showed as much tonight. Truth has just played this character perfectly. His mix of madness and poor English along with his mic skills has been great. I actually always thought he was a decent enough wrestler, just a little to giddy to be like-able. One of the best reasons to turn heal in a long time, blaming the pleasing of fans as the reason he accepted that match with Morrison, who still has one of the worst entrance songs.

Gotta love the contradictions from Cena again, as pointed out. Call Del Rio a coward then let Nash win the match for you. Little arrogance from him tonight also saying Punk is only person who can hang with him.

Seems like I might be in the minority here, atleast in the brief time I have been, but I like Del Rio. Even as small a thing as his reaction to Cena's shirt being thrown back at him. I feared he would be a Mexican JBL but I haven't been bored by him at all.

I thought it was a good show aside from that and the last couple of minutes, which in terms of quality was basically air escaping from a balloon. So freaking flat.

I'm apparently the only guy in the world that doesn't like R-Truth. I don't like his character, I don't like his matches. Then again, I've never been a fan of goofiness in any stripe. Hopefully he and Miz will be...something. They do have a point about being pushed out of the main event. It's like they're doing the joke heel version of the CM Punk angle, though.

Ah, the CM Punk angle. I loved the stuff at the beginning, especially keeping the suit in his wife's purse with his cellphone and his balls. And of course Big Lazy with the Just for Men in the Conservatory.

I swear, though, Nash just about kills the angle every time he opens his damned mouth.

The end was just lame. I always hate that interference from the ramp garbage, because it makes the loser (face or heel) look like an idiot, and often weak. If you're going to do that, at least beat up the guy before you pin him. Don't pick him up and non chalantly FU him. And boy does "honorable" John Cena sure have no problem attacking somebody from behind like that. They should play that up, but....of course....they're never going to turn him heel.
