Watching the quarterbacks
Among the 3 quarterbacks on the roster, the guy who threw the ball best on Thursday was Brady Quinn. He appears to have solid mechanics in his drop and has smoothed out some rough edges that were visible in his motion going back to Notre Dame. Matt Cassel threw several nice passes, but he was high on his throws during much of the session. Ricky Stanzi was OK. @Iowa homers.

“I think they’re beginning to gain a command of the system and some of the checks that we have in place,” Crennel said. “They’re all doing well. Probably, Brady and Matt are a little ahead of Stanzi right now, but they’re all working at it. They’re a good group in that room, so we feel good about them.”

Fair or not...it is a legitimate questions.

Something will cause him to miss a game....injury....family situation...I don't know. But he has yet to play a complete season.

I don't know how stating that he will miss a game this season is such a radical statement given his history...?

remember that Quinn would have been the starting QB in his 3rd year had Romeo not been fired. The new coach came in and wanted big turnover an Quinn was a casualty of that.

To be honest Tomahawk, I'm really just playing devils advocate here. I've liked Quinn since he was in ND and I think qb play has alot to do with situation.

All I care is what he does now. When he gets a chance (to start).
