Kevin Keitzman can suck anti-freeze

WTF is this guys' problem? Yesterday he was bashing on the Royals for their behavior over the weekend. Fine. WTF ever.

Today he decides he needs to make fun of Ventura, Escobar and Cain.

Ventura: Called him a diva and what not for the way he acted when he got his thumb cramp. I'm like WTF? JC can take a square hit from a 280 pound LB and not go down but if dude gets a cramp he will drop like a brick. Cramps ****ing hurt. So fin WTF ever, KK...

Escobar: Now here is where I got pissed. Said dude was being over dramatic by being carried off the field when he got taken out. I'm like yeah, the guy started 170+ games straight last year and he is over dramatic. Never mind the trainers probably told Esky not to put any pressure on his leg until they could look at it. KK is all "I've hit myself in the shin several times..."

so **** him right there,,,

Cain: Then he goes onto make fun of Cain for being all huffy and puffy after he chases down a routine catch in a gap. He's all, you just ran 70 feet, you're a world class athlete, blah blah blah.

Then goes on to say "what do you think Gordon thinks of these guys?" and what not.

Is this guy that pissed his station lost the Royals contract? Or is he that desperate to stir up controversy?

So he was basically trying to say these guys are divas and overly dramatic and what not but he thinks it's "cute".
**** him in his ear.

I couldn't tell you the last time I listened to KK. There have been a few times I've switched from 610 to 810, just to see if I would enjoy the convo more, but never during that douche nozzle's show. **** that JOCOPOS right in his mangina.

I think you're close...I think he owned some property that would have been nearby a potential stadium, so he was looking at a big jump in value.

Yep. From CP archives no less

Heh. Here we go....

It's been argued that Keitzman was less than honest about his intentions with what he wanted with the Complex. He put up huge arguments trying to convince everyone that a downtown baseball park, plus the seperation of the Royals and Chiefs, would be a tremendous benefit to the city. At the same time, he owns part of a condo in the Western Auto building, land downtown, and has (had) plans to build another of his restaurants downotown.

I get the concept, but you can go to far. I was never a huge fan, but I have kept his show in the mix and when he's talked Chiefs or Royals I generally have enjoyed hearing his takes. his show yesterday really damaged my view of him. I'll be more likely to listen to the bro-fisting douchebags on 610 this evening than hear another salvo from Kietzman about all the ways he can't stand this team and we all are just fans with rose colored glasses.

Danny and Cdot are ok sometimes. Most of the time I just listen to music on the way home. I like Cdot, he makes me laugh, and I think if he was paired with a better host than Danny he would really thrive. Danny just brings that show down. Regardless, its still head and shoulders above the trash KK puts out.

The only way to get him to shut the **** up is to stop listening. When his ratings go into the toilet, he might get it.

Like most radio hosts, he's the Buck Henry character in an SNL skit from way back in the first season. He's hosting a radio call-in show where the topic is municipal bonds. Of course, it's so boring that nobody's calling in, so he becomes increasingly strident trying to inflame people and get calls:
Soviet Communism -- let's give it a chance!
Killing puppies -- it doesn't bother me!
Adolf Hitler -- boy, do we need him now!
Incest -- I practice it, why don't you?

I really liked their show when they were on mid-day. Parkins was really good back then. But once they moved to evenings they changed. I think the goal is to gain younger market share, so now it's part dating show and endless giggling at references to their own personal lives.
