Greatest accomplishment in the history of sport?

With all the recruiting advantages the LHN brings Texas, and overcoming the biased officiating for KU, is K-State winning the conference in both major sports in the same year the greatest accomplishment ever?

Can't believe I just read through all of this, but why is everyone so pissy? KSU had a great season and deserves their share. KU had a good season and deserves their share as well.

As a KU fan, we've certainly pumped up this 9 straight titles stuff while knowing we "shared" 3 of those in the first 8. Seems kind of hypocritical to mock KSU fans for "sharing" a title as well.

Congrats on your title KSU. And I celebrate KU winning our share as well. Maybe we'll meet for a 3rd game on Saturday and hopefully both teams will have a strong showing in the NCAA tournament.

RT @KellisRobinett: Bruce Weber says he was hoping to have a championship celebration on senior night, but poor officiating (meaning ISU/KU) got in the way.

Oh, Kellis. Gotta love the KU graduate in charge of covering the K-State beat for the Wichita Eagle.

It's nothing against KSU (I actually don't mind at all that they got a share, really makes no different to me, they had a great season), but I'm looking forward to when Weber starts failing like he did in Illinois when he loses all of Martin's players. The guy is a bit of an assclown.

Well Mr. McMahon knocked the ref out, donned the stripes, then ripped off the shirt to reveal the cartoon chicken screwing over those poor Euro ballers.

I can't remember if you were one of the many supplying that water fountain of delicious tears in the KU/ISU game thread. I'm gonna go ahead and mark you down for a yes.

Thanks. That was fun.
