AFC Playoff Picture after week 16

1) New England 12-3
2) Denver 11-4

3) Cincinnati 10-4-1
6) San Diego 9-6

4) Indianapolis 10-5
5) Pittsburgh 10-5

Baltimore 9-6
Houston 8-7
Kansas City 8-7

-New England has clinched the 1 seed.

-Denver clinches the 2 seed with a win. A Denver loss + CIN win would give CIN the 2 seed.

-If Denver wins, the CIN/PIT winner will be the 3rd seed. PIT cannot go higher than the 3 seed.

-Indianapolis is the 4 seed

-The CIN/PIT loser will be the 5 seed.

-San Diego gets the 6 seed with a win. They lose, Baltimore gets in with a win. They both lose, Houston gets in with a win. BAL & HOU lose, KC gets in with a win.

This is all assuming no ties next week.

Still didn't ****ing win. Thus, backing in.

vs what NE is doing. Play like nutsack. Figure it out. Win to get in.

Seems like every time we count on someone to lose in week 17 to make the playoffs, they always play an absolute dog shit team. I still remember needing Pittsburgh to lose to shitty Detroit when we were beating Cinci. Vermeil's last game. I think we were 10-6 that year.

Here's your problem right here. It's not JUST Reid. It's not JUST Smith. It's an entire team blowing two games they could not afford to.

Imagine if the SB is Pats-Seahawks... the two teams KC beat. Heads will implode.

Exactly! But it starts first and foremost with being prepared for the team, a gameplan that is SPECIFIC to our opponent, the focus to play a FULL GAME and make MID GAME adjustments.

So, beat the Chargers and then what?

What else has to happen, which highly improbable teams have to win next week, besides the Chiefs?

as long as they don't make the SB the objective is met. I would say they sucked anyway from the pathetic way all their games played out.

hey, for all I know they'll send them back to the SB to lose anyway. But their offense has been nothing but Russell running forward for unrealistic gains when they miss a couple passes LOL =boring

Yes, I have given up on this season. Time to look ahead to spring!
