Your new home for first-round busts.....maybe we can trade Sims there.

will depend almost completely on the contract money
if cheap than it's a good move for the ... maybe cleveland just didn't fit. if expensive then prolly not worth the risk.

There have been other FAs this offseason that were rumored to be going to Denver, but ended up somewhere else. The only one I can think of right now is Garcia, but there are others.

Good, I hope trying to be the Browns works for them. Warren and Brown should equal big games for Priest and LJ.

I don't even know how to comment on this one... first Warren, now this guy that can't stay healthy. I've read that he's played well when healthy, but damn.
The contract better be mostly incentives. The other move I don't understand is giving Putz the contract he commanded thanks to the Jets and then signing Stephen Alexander with a $1M bonus. I'm totally unsure of what the plan exactly is at the moment... no idea how to break down these signings.

http://www.denverpost.com/Stories/0,...778913,00.html However you like to describe it, it appears the career spare received a million bucks. If his cap hit for 05 is greater than the veteran minimum... they overpaid.

I don't mind taking chances on players... but, there's a limit to how many chances I'm comfortable with in one offseason.
Putz and Alexander... I would have rather them not match Putz and accept a draft pick from the Jets. I think they were willing to go up to a 4 from a 6 rounder, right? I'd rather have Pollard (roughly the same $ as both Putz and Alexander are getting) and that 4th round pick.
