2013 NFL Sunday Ticket + Alternatives
I know we had this thread last year, but things change every year so I thought I'd post this.

I've been with DirecTV for about 6 years now for the Ticket, but I can't afford it anymore. So I thought I'd see what things we learn as we negotiate, work around the Ticket, and find ways to watch our Chiefs games out of market as affordable as possible.

I know there's a promotion with Madden 25. What else is there this year?

I called them today to let them know I had the Madden 25th anniversay addition, which comes with free subscribtion to sunday ticket max. The lady put me on hold and said she had to verify with her supervisor since she was under the impression it was for 'new subscribers' only. After about 5 mins she comes back to confirm, so I played the 'cancel everything' card, since FIOS just installed about 3 weeks ago. She said to hold on again since I was a loyal customer she would check and see what she can do. Another few minutes go bye and she gives me Sunday Ticket Max for $99.

Guess I'll cancel next year and go with FIOS.

and the freaking DirectTV website is down today. I bought the Madden 25th Anniversary pkg just to use this and DTV can't keep their website up. What a joke.
