You can't expect them to know what Trump says.

Fox News usually and wisely stays away from those types of comments.

Provoking Russia these days by trying to get more border countries on Russia to join, directly contrary to what Bush Sr promised would not happen to entice them to allow Germany to reunite. In addition to provocative military build-up and exercises on their border. When Russia responds back—point the finger at them as being the aggressive. Kinda' sounds like how the Nazis operated.

If someone posts that this was not a formalized agreement, such as Donger, my understanding is that the NATO members of Europe having to pay 2% of the GDP wasn't either. As far as I am concerned a handshake is still a promise to do or not do something.

I can understand the need of a country to want buffer countries around them, not part of a military alliance against them.

I am convinced that the Russia/Putin boogeyman hysteria stems from the camp that want global control of the world. Russia is nationalist and they hate that. Same reason they hate Trump. Russia is not only nationalist, it is a country where Christianity is flourishing whereby by some westerners who are Christian have relocated there as they can live a life with others of shared values.

If Russia was still communist, the left would be defending it.
