I don't think there's any chance of a reboot in the foreseeable future, at least not a remake-of-ANH type reboot. Because how do you do that? It's not like a comic, where you have 50 years of different valid takes to draw from. A shot-for-shot remake would be pointless, and nobody wants to see some weird different version of it.

More likely they'd jump ahead a few hundred years and do a new story separate from the original 9 movies. Or go back a few hundred years. A KOTOR movie would be pretty cool.

True, but then it becomes Space Adventure Movie not Star Wars. Basically marketed on the name, but it would have nothing to do with the reason we all loved the original trilogy, and hated the ****ing prequels.

It's ok but hasn't really gripped me. I usually just have it on as background noise while I do other shit.

Boba Fett was an enigma and as a child he was my favorite character in the Star Wars universe, but that, of course, was ruined by the prequels.

There is no longer anything mysterious about him. He's from New Zealand and he's mad about his clone father's death.

I can't see how the magical world of Disney can reverse the damage that's already been done.
