The wife was in a fiesty mood tonight and wanted to try a new drink. We've got some awful Jose Cuervo Silver tequila that I've been meaning to use, so I Googled some recipes. I found this: The Vampira.

I had to go get Clamato, which I found at our local, and very Mexican, Price Chopper, as "Jugo de Tomate y Camarron" (juice of tomato and shrimp--yikes).

So, hot sauce, shrimp, and grapefruit? Sounds awful, but she wanted it. I tried it... man, I'm just not a zesty alcohol guy. It was disgusting, but she liked it, so hopefully I get a HJ at the least. Will report back later.

Anyway, what's the weirdest shit you've made? Did you like it?

I great drink that I picked up from a Bill Simmons column (of all places) over ten years ago is a Diver Down. Take a shot of Bacardi Limon and pour it in the neck of a Corona. Turn the Corona upside down to mix, then drink it like a regular beer.

When I was 17 I drank a ton of Rye and Kool-Aid one night with a couple of buddies (we couldn't afford a Cola product at the time).
I was sitting the entire evening and decided to get up and call my parents to let them know I'd be sleeping over at my friends house.
As soon as I stood up it hit me... My Mom picked up the phone and I said " Me no sleep home. Me sleep Tom's house".
Needless to say, my parents have had a lot of fun with that quote over the years.

I told my uncle (my father figure) on my 21st birthday that I would take any shot he bought me.

Came back with a prairie fire shot and I've enjoyed them ever since.

It's been a long time, but I think it was called "Bullfrog". It should have been called "The Panty dropper".

2 orange construction coolers. Don't bother really cleaning them, people won't notice.
Couple bags of ice.
Orange powdered Gatorade.
6 pack of 7up.
A couple cheap beers.
2 jugs of McCormick.
1 jug of Everclear.

By the time you get it to taste right you're lit up like a Christmas tree at 2 in the afternoon stirring it with a stick in the front yard. Anything over a 7 drank for free and if you didn't get laid at least twice during the night you must have been reeruned. I made enough of it I must have liked it but just the smell of it now reminds me of all the ugly ass it delivered and makes my stomach turn. If I had went to sleep, my dad would always wake me up early to mow the yard the next morning. Condoms would be everywhere.

I had to decline when asked to bring it to the 10 year class reunion for fear a now overly obese hoggerbeast might catch me in a moment of weakness.

The only thing I really mix now is an occasional Old Fashion for myself or some Jello shots for a group of hookers.
