Off Season Lets Talk Guns

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

* Sig Sauer 556 SWAT Patrol w/blue SS hard case - http://www.sigsauer.com/CatalogProdu...rol-rifle.aspx
* 4 mags - 1 original 30 rd SS mag, 2 30 rd Magpul (w/window), 1 20 rd Magpul
* Lucid MD7 RDS - http://mylucidgear.com/reddot.php
* Grip Pod - http://www.grippod.com/gpsle.html

I'll sell the rifle with all the original accessories/documentation along with the mags for $1000 even. I'll sell everything for $1200.

so no reddot or grip pod for 1k, 200 more for the sight and grip.
I still really want this gun man, but I still can't convince my higher ups to let me carry it in the squad car. It sucks because there's no reason I shouldn't be allowed to. And it's a sweet ****ing rifle.

oh, do you still have the rear iron sight?

Do you get to keep any kind of high power rifle in your squad car?

Cabela's prices are reasonable. They always seem to have a few of the main calibers on sale, along with the best selection of ammo in KC.

Yes, I do have the rear sight. It's the SS rotary diopter.

I know, but I want to get an additional rifle and don't want to sink tons of money into it. I want one 100 yard and in gun (AK), and one longer range rifle (.308). I figure I can sell my Sig for $1K, buy a good AK for five or six hundred, and then only have to spend an additional three or four hundred for a nice .308 with optics.

You bought an AK, right? Which one? How are you liking it and what ammo do you use?

At least wait until after the election. If Ofascist gets reelected, don't get rid of ANYTHING.

As for my AK, I got an Inter Ordinance from Atlantic Firearms. Unfortunately, it looks like Inter Ordinance may be shut down - their site no longer works and their weapons don't seem to be listed on Atlantic's site anymore.

That said, I like it. I run the cheapest, nastiest Russian shit through it I can find, and it eats it up. With iron sights I had a six inch group at 100 yards.

Anybody have a Taurus Judge? My wife gets horny when she sees one.

I'm thinking on getting her the matte finish 3" barrel, 3" chamber in either magnum or ultra light, both under $500. and yes, she's shot one and loved it.

Personally, no I don't. However, I know four different ranchers that pack one and love it. My one buddy carries 3 .45LC and 2 .410's in his. He says it takes care of every need on the ranch. I haven't heard a bad word on them yet.

you're in Montana and I'm in Wyoming... yep, the peeps round these parts do love their judges. Personally, I just don't have a reason to buy one other than the "it's cool" thing.

Yeah, pretty much how I feel.

It's a good gun, but not a "must buy" for me.
