How many and/or who do you have on ignore?
I'm curious to see how many people use this feature and to what extent.

I've only really bumped heads with a few folks in all my time here, but I've never considered putting anyone on ignore. You'd miss out on part of the conversation. A conversation that you were obviously interested enough in to get in there and read....so IMO I don't think it makes much sense. And....just because you don't particularly care for someone doesn't mean they might not....at some point in time....possibly....say something meaningful!

So....waddaya got?

I actually had this experience once. Back in the day when this place was using a different server or BBS program (a little fuzzy on the details after all of these years) we went through an upgrade. During this upgrade everyone temporarily moved to another board because this was going to take a couple of days.

Now whatever this upgrade move thing was it left the original Planet up and semi-functional. You could post there but, those posts did not make the move over to the new digs. It was like some kind of alternate reality Planet. I went to town. I started posting things to myself as if I were talking to other people. Just me by myself having off the wall conversations about everything and nothing. Every so often another member would pop in just out of curiosity and find me there rambling on to my multitude of personalities. They'd leave a comment wondering if I was ok or needed to be committed and then leave again.

It was hella fun.
