I know this will sound all grinchy and maybe it is but for the last 7 years I only buy gifts for my daughter. (OK I did for a gf a few times and mom a couple times but the point remains.) I decided long ago and let everyone know that I refuse to go broke buying shit for people that they don't want or need. I need to pay my rent and buy grocerys more than you need some shitty canister of popcorn or a shirt you won't like and isn't the right size. Luckily every one of my family members and friends understands and has no problem with it. I ask for nothing in return, in fact I usually tell people if they buy me something I'll stab them in the face lol.

This year my daughter doesn't even want anything but I'll get her something just so I'm not a loser father on top of being a loser friend, son, brother, uncle and co-worker heh. She'll get me something too which is fine since she's the only one safe from being stabbed in the face. It'll take about an hour at most to find what I want to get her sometime next week... probably not that long. Voila... done.

It's not that I don't like Christmas. I don't like the commercialism and mostly the expectations or pressure to buy shit for people just so they don't get their feelings hurt. I love you all. Save your cash and lets spend some time together and have a beer.

Merry Christmas dammit.

Wife does all the xmas shopping with the exception of her brother and her dad which I shop for. Spent 15min on Amazon.com and *boom* done.

I'm completely broke this year. Like, down to last 20 with house payment coming up in 2 weeks. Man wings sound phenomenal right now.
