umm, besides. Notebks require small ass screw drivers, I only have 'MANLY' screwdrivers.

So did you ever get this fixed or what?

I had a Toshiba laptop that I was using while eating lunch. I was drinking a bottled water and accidentally spilled some water on it. Laptop started acting screwy so I knew some water got down inside. I ended up having to take out a buttload of screws. Tried to hand dry as much as possible and left it open to air dry the rest of the way. It took some time but after it was dried out, it worked just as before.
