Lets see......QBs and their agents used the rookie draft pay scale, before the current changes to get their players higher salaries because of experience and so on...differences basically.
The QB position is viewed differently especially when you are talking about the successful QBs that have gotten these big contracts.
Haynesworth's contract did not work out and was viewed league wide as a bad deal from the beginning and it worked out that way.
Bad deals don't set the market. Good ones do.

That success that Reid has had with those QBs, Feeley, Foles, etc is also because those QBs were the backups that just had to play decent for a few games.
What did Reid do when he didn't have McNabb anymore? He went out and got someone other than one of those he had drafted.

Then our FO is full of fools.

We're depending on "next man up" to work at every hole this team has.

Not hope 1 or 2 guys work out - depending on it happening.

At every position we lost a player.

New starters at both T spots, G, FS, ILB, etc.

On top of that we believe the least productive group of WR's in the league is "good enough."

Look at it this way - we play all 4 championship teams from last year and even though we didn't win a playoff game we think our depth is good enough to beat any of these teams?...

That success was also due to a dominant defense and playmakers on offense.

The QB's job was just not to **** it up...
