Why did San Diego take a kicker?
I was not watching when this pick happened.
Round 6: 19 (188) Kurt Smith K Virginia What's up with that? Did they discuss this on ESPN? We ended up taking Webb from their own backyard two picks later. I don't understand why they'd do this, especially since they took a kicker in the 2nd round not but two years ago. |

I expect Tynes to be solid yet again. Really, I'd find it hard to believe he'll fall off, now that he surely has more confidence in his abilities after a good year.
San Diego had a weird draft. I'm glad they picked Whitehurst instead of Croyle, though (WTF?!).
