RMC tried to get ahold of Flopnuts that night to see if he could get my named changed to wolfsnuggler. It took him two weeks to get ahold of him and make it happen so I figured I would man up and live with it for awhile before I go in and change it back.
Damn, totally disappointed!
I thought we were going to hear ther down-lo on a 4 dog night!

When I was on spring break I was talking to and guy who was an ex-Marine and a police officer in New Mexico . I thanked him for his service and being a police officer then he asked me what I did and I told him I was a middle school teacher and he said "how can you do that?"

Are you kidding me? He has a gun and deals with drugs, robberies and he thinks my job is just as bad as his.

Last night was a great experience though. My youngest daughter was in a play. Afterwards they had a cast party. There was a former student that came up to me who is now graduated college and is working on her own. She told me great things about me and that I was the only middle school teacher that she remembered. Those are the things I cling too. I know I am doing something right.

I hope everyday that I get to experience something like that. Not for myself, but because these kids are capable of success if they'd just learn to say no to temptation and believe in themselves.

Sadly, if I see my kids again it's on the news. One I had three years ago was just sentenced to 10 years.
