It's more accurate regarding your diagnosis of a guy you've never met.
This is nonsense. Complete and utter bullshit.

I don't need to diagnose him. He said he was diagnosed as bipolar, and his symptoms were classic examples of acute mania typical of Biplolar I. You'd have a hard time finding a medical professional that wouldn't say he was a clear example of someone in a manic state. This isn't a confusing case. He's not a zebra.

Moreover, while you can't ethically conduct trials whose primary efficacy measure is "how much does drug X decrease suicide rate compared to placebo?" because of the Nuremberg Code, Belmont Report, and Declaration of Helsinki, what you can do it compare one drug against another. There are multiple analysis that show clear superiority of many treatments for bipolar disorder. For example, patients on lithium are about 70% less likely to be hospitalized for a suicide attempt and up to three times less likely to commit suicide than patients that take valproic acid, even after controlling for other risk factors.

Let's take the lithium example further. In 31 studies of lithium treatment in subjects with affective illness, the risk of attempted or completed suicide was 5-fold lower during treatment with lithium (RR=4.91, 95% CI 3.82-6.31, p < 0.0001). So, there is a 0.01% chance that the reduction in suicide attempts for those that use lithium was due to chance.

If you have some advanced knowledge of biostatistics and trial design that problematizes these findings, please provide it.

So what does Trump's position on the "Central Park Five" mean to you? What's the relevance here? I've heard various opinions about this regarding Trump. Just curious as to what your viewpoint is.

They may have disliked his pretenious bullcrap and arrogance but they never shit all over Kanye's worth as a human being. All I hear from liberals now is "he's got bi-polar. He should be locked up or medicated". That says a lot about your shitty ass "team"
I don't hate him. I hate that he's trying to be a political figure or influence politics when he knows **** all about it. Remember when he was asked what he liked about Trump's policies and he literally couldn't answer? He doesn't know shit about shit and he's being used to everyone around him.

And when he was being a "liberal poster boy" at least that was just limited to music and 1 tv appearance. Now he's meeting with the ****ing president. You do see the difference right?

When did I try to force anyone to take drugs? I said he SHOULD get treatment. Just like if he had cancer I would say he SHOULD get treatment for that too.

If he wasnt giving Trump a fair shake, none of you lefties would be bemoaning his mental state

What Kanye and Kim have figured out, is that being willing to been seen with, and have a dialogue with, the president... actually produces results

Look no further than the old lady who was pardoned for proof of that

Treatment for what? Having bad ideas?

You mean re education? It SOUNDS like you mean re-education.

Kanye, regardless of what you think, is a wildly successful guy who has at no point been viewed as a legit threat to harm himself or others. You're freaking out about a fame-whore (for about 20 years running) because he MET WITH THE PRESIDENT in a highly orchestrated media spectacle. Meanwhile 50 cent has his posse jump rivals at awards shows and nobody cares. I just want to establish that juxtaposition.

So in every single way Kanye is being Kanye. A delusional self promoting fame whore. He married a fame whore. They will raise fame whore children.

So why, NOW do you think he needs treatment that he apparently didn't need 10 years ago? Because there's only one major variable. You don't like what he has to say.

Kanye has always been an eccentric weirdo, but he's not a dangerous nut. He's not staying in one room, keeping jars of piss, and not cutting his fingernails. You arm chair psychologists are full of so much shit.

Treatment for his bipolar disorder. Try to keep up.

And yes I've always thought Kanye needed "handling" because for as long as I've known about him, he's had a severe case of arrested development mixed in with a God complex. You think people talk about him being lost without his mother just to talk about it? Or because they know how much she controlled him and helped him get through life?

I love how CNN shuts down the conservative commentator when he uses the term 'mob' but apparently 'token negro' is completely acceptable.

Good point.

Speaking of some things being ok and some things not, did you hear the word associations by Patrick Mahomes in the interview before last nights game? He was asked for the first word that came to mind when some of his teammates were mentioned. Here are his answers:

Tyreek Hill - “Cheetah”

Kareem Hunt - “Beast”

Travis Kelce - “Smart”

Andy Reid - “Genius”

If Donald Trump had given these answers, it would be a window into his racist soul, associating black men with animals and white men with intelligence. In real life, it’s just an answer and reasonable people don’t jump to race-obsessed conclusions.
