I figured I would start a thread for this and see what happens....there seemed to be quite a few viewers on the board for this show the past few weeks.....I like the direction the show is taking so far......episode 3 tonight at 7 central on ABC....

If that was the future, than why did Jack tell the other doctor to go and get his Dad from upstairs and see if he was more drunk? His Dad has been dead for a while.

That's the part that threw me.

Yeah, if anything, I thought Sawyer is in the coffin because no one went to the funeral, but Jack expected Kate might show. Fits Sawyer's profile.

So if Sawyer is in the coffin, who would Kate choose over Jack?

I was actually thinking it might be Ben. Spin that one It's a crazy thought, but considering Jack was all about getting back to the island...you never know.

This is the first I've watched in a while, but this is crazy, and kind of in a good way. I'm intrigued about next season all of a sudden.

And I think the reference to his dad is a bit of drunken delusion.

I watched religiously season one and halfway through season two... then I started to falter a bit but still kept up.

This season I wasn't able to survive the ultra-long hiatus and only watched sporadically.

Next season, though, I might have to catch up again.
