Camping

Heat, bugs, boredom, uncomfortable sleeping conditions, and bears. Why do white people like it so much?

nature is boring as shit. It's also infuriating when you don't get data service.

That's true. It would cost time and money for me to travel to anywhere that wasn't boring...to camp.

Sorry, i'll use my Marriott points and enjoy life if i'm going to travel.

Also you don't realize it at first, but 3+ days of not being bombarded with advertising is really detoxifying. I always feel so refreshed from that.

Everyone always puts "outdoor activities" for interests in their bio. Mine is air-conditioning and sitting inside.

I had to do a lot of camping in boy scouts. It sucks in hot weather. I hate hot weather camping. Give me -20 weather, but 90 degrees makes me puke.

I haven't camped in a tent in many, many years. Got a pop-up camper in 1999, three years later bought a 27' travel trailer. Last year we upgraded that to a 32' 5th wheel with all the amenities. It's more of a hotel on wheels.

50 amp service but only one A/C. Huh. Well, as long as you're happy you aren't sucking up nearly as much campground amperage as you could be...

Oh, and ...
It's got two. One in the bedroom, but I've never used it because most places I go only have 30 amp service. Plus, the main unit will get it down right frigid in there.

Trickery. It wasn't checked off on the spec sheet.

Just curious: Ever throw a breaker running too much stuff off 30 amp?
