Michigan State loaded up on a tough schedule and didn't look that good this year. Its not a good idea to play a cupcake non-conference schedule, but in prior years you could overcome that if you do really well in a tough conference.

The committee basically said "not anymore". If you play an easy non-con schedule, you are apparently dead in the water.
I appreciate you're trying to make a case for what happened, but I'm not sure they should've chucked out the quality wins and record in last 10 games with the bathwater.

Plus, what if you are a strong mid-major like Missouri St. and no one will schedule you in the noncon?

Then they better win their conference tourney.

Just got home, looks like SDSU got a 2 in the West.

Haven't really scoured the brackets, but I'm pretty sure that the West is ****ing stacked compared to the other regions. I'm ****ing stoked, if we are going to make it to the elite 8 we'll have to knock off UConn (sorry Mizzou fans)...at least we'll see if we are for real. **** yeah, I am so excited!

If I was to rank the paths of the #1's from most to least difficult, I'd go Ohio St.'s East, KU's Southwest, Duke's West, and Pittsburgh's Southeast.

So pretty much the opposite of what it should be.

San Diego got a very good draw. Pretty easy path to the S16. And UConn is overseeded based on the recent run.

Forget Colorado and those other shitty teams. I'm more confused on how Kansas didn't get the #1 overall seed.

Statistically it looks like tOSU has one of the harder regions, but I don't really believe in stats and just by looking at it I think they have the easiest, and I think they are miles better than UK.

Look at how the Big 10 was seeded and you have your answer.
