Zeppelin Fans: do yourself a favor & pick up Plant's new CD

It's really an outstanding effort that hard core Zeppelin fans will enjoy because it embodies much of what we love about the band. The CD is getting great reviews in part because of the substance that is on the album. It's not merely an aged rocker producing crap and living off of their former fame. It's GOOD SHIT!

Disclaimer: I did not actually buy the CD. My 13 year old got it from a friend for his birthday last week.

Still, I'd recommend buying it.

I'm not sure I trust you to speak for we, at least as it pertains to I. I most enjoyed Page's guitar, Plant's vocals were a welcome plus.

The most important question is: Does it rock?

Yes and no. Yes, in the "Black Mountain Side" or "Rain Song" side of Zeppelin. No, in the "Whole Lotta Love" side. Depends on what you appreciate and perceive as 'rock.'

If you enjoy LZ mostly for Page's guitar then I'm not sure you'd like this CD.

Fair enough. I'll check it out at Virgin before laying down my soft-earned bucks.
