Jason Pierre-Paul had an inconsistent start. He played in 12 games, but wasn't on the field much -- but really came on in the last six games of the season.

Pierre-Paul had five sacks, 30 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, four hits, 16 pressures, and six pass deflections. Not bad for a player that was considered raw.

sam bradford
trent williams
tim tebow
demariyous thomas (too raw)
rolondo mcclain (between the chrone's and being drafted by the raiders)
jahvid best (concussions are damned serious)
I don't see devin mccourty having that big an impact with the patriots. their pass rush isn't what it used to be, so as a result, he'll have to cover longer. that doesn't usually bode well for rookie corners.
I can see anthony davis being a boom/bust guy. I could easily see him going bust.
ryan matthews had a LOT of carries in college. if they don't utilize him right, he may go bust due to health concerns (it's not like they have anybody else to tote the rock)
tyson alualu... drafted way too high. he may be average, but average doesn't look good when it's drafted in the top ten.

funny, I don't see your attempt.

and it's a bit difficult to say any of them are successes OR failures at this point. it's acknowledged that you can't judge a class until after the third year.

Only because he's 1 overall.
If he puts up average #'s I guess he would be considred a bust.
I think he will be an average qb.

(10) Jaguars Alualu, Tyson DE 6'3" 295
Jax is to DE what det used to be to wr.

Broncos (From Ravens) Tebow, Tim QB 6'3" 236
I hope he plays early berry and flowers could rack up the INTs.

Broncos (From Patriots) Thomas, Demaryius WR 6'3" 224
A mistake that will fly under the radar because of tebow.

Tyson Alualu without a doubt. He belongs in a 3-4 as a DE and he should have been taken at least 10-15 picks later.

I'm also going with Ryan Matthews. He's going to be a decent back, but was it worth giving up a second round pick and swapping 4ths to move up to get him?

While the Jags took him way too high, I expect him to surprise a lot of people.

I think he's in Tyson Jackson territory. He belongs in the first round, but I just don't think he'll justify a top 10 pick. Too one-dimensional. I think he'll be a good run defender but provide little pass rush in pass D. That's why I think he should have been pegged as a 5-technique. If you're going to be a DT in the top 10, I would demand that you be at least pretty good in both run and pass D.
