Unnamed scouts/personnel executives give their take on 50 players

Glad McGinn did this again this year...

The list is sorted by who would be there at the Packers pick (#29).

http://www.jsonline.com/story/sports...look/98698342/

Based on interviews with executives in personnel for six teams, it is possible to narrow down just a little bit the pool of players that might be considered by the Green Bay Packers regardless of position if they exercise their current 29th selection in the first round of the NFL draft April 27.

Prospects are conservatively divided into three categories: As Good As Gone – barring negative developments, these players have virtually no chance of reaching No. 29; Probably Gone – players who appear to have no better than a 50-50 chance of remaining on the board at No. 29; and The Next Level – players who figure to be taken next.

Here’s an early look at 50 players who figure to fit into these layers of the draft (underclassmen are denoted by asterisk).

Would love to see if Andy can coach Mahomes. The first half of his scouting report gets ya wet...

Agree but don't think we can sit at 27 and expect him to still be there. Got to move up.

He’s a first-round player for me but he’s got to be penalized because he’s a midget. Second round.
that's so stupid.

If he can play.. he can play.

This is a good draft to have lots of picks.

Lot's of depth on defense, which were we have most of our needs.

Offense
QB - QBoTF
TE - #2
WR - Replace Wilson with another big time threat
Oline - interior depth

Defense (need to get stronger down the middle: NT,ILB,SS)

Dline - Add depth, Need to replace Poe. Howard moves to NT, Jones at RDE,Allen at LDE.
ILB - not much other than an old DJ. ILBs need to make up for run defense weakness in a 3-man DL.
Pass Rusher - Hali(old),Ford(unpredictable),Houston(hurt)
CB - Depth, Peters(stud),Gaines(hurt), Mitchell(1-year?), Nelson(looking pretty good),
Safety - Would like a stud SS to pair with FS Berry (would love Jabril Peppers)
