Why?
The Chiefs have never even won the Lamar Hunt trophy

It sounds like you are more scared of losing than willing to take a chance to win something of significance

I also gotta laugh at OctoberFart for presenting himself as this SLAYER OF ALL THE CHIEF HOMERS WHO THINK THE TEAM IS A TOP 5 ALL TIME FRANCHISE.

Point to all the homerism on here, OctoberFart. It's all over here, right? It should be pretty easy to find.

Saying I would rather lose in the playoffs than get humiliated in the SB does not in any way say I dont want to win moron.

No one is saying not to get there but if my choices are -

A. Get our asses kicked in historicly bad fashion in the SB and then being irrelevant the next 15 years

B. Losing in the playoffs and building a steady consistent contender.

I'm going with B all day.

I'm certainly not talking shit about getting destroyed in the SB.

Part B needs to add Losing in the playoffs with 2 complete rebuilds and 2-14 records.

Those weren't the choices when this debate began.

No you would just rather not lose. For a fan of a team that hasn't sniffed a Super Bowl in 5 decades I am surprised you would not even be curious as to what it feels like to root for a conference champ.

Who cares if you get blown out, you still went further than 30 other teams.

Cheaps have had some really good teams since the 90's and haven't done jack shit with either of them..

Don't ever use the word Choke to bash the Raiders with a history like the Cheaps have.

I haven't done it nor will I, but I'm absolutely certain staylor and his ilk of homers will be in this thread praising this signing, probably: "He's only going to get better."

No, actually, he's getting worse. And he was never great to begin with.

Guessing LDT will be very similar. They pay guys VERY unnecessarily sometimes.
