The premiere did not disappoint.

Obviously, the new Spartacus isn't as good as Whitfield, but under the circumstances that can hardly be held against anybody. They gave him a nice shout out at the end of the episode as well.

Yeah, I am also sad they did not do some sort thanks to andy at the start of season 2, well at least they did not during the on demand version..

I think the guy from Avatar would of been a better replacement if they could of got him cut..

I wonder when and how Gannicus and Ashur will show up. I assume Ashur is in it because he's still alive and is prominent in the ending credits. Gannicus earned his freedom in Gods of the Arena and was a prominent character in the historical story of Spartacus's army. That will be interesting to see.

Liam seems taller and leaner than Andy, which I don't care too much about. However, if they were trying to get him to look similar to Andy's Spartacus- it would go a long way to give him that 'Caesar' hair style that Andy had, rather than the more modern cut Liam has. Also, Liam had a few good scenes, but was uneven in his acting. There was a scene where it sounded like Liam and Manu were competing to see who could sound more like The Dark Knight's Batman. That cracked me up.

IDK about Jupiter's junk, but I saw enough flaccid junk getting sliced to last me for the rest of my life. Ha!

I watched all of season one and 4 episodes of "Gods of the Arena" this past week or so. I originally started watching the show with my brother but decided it wasn't worth it after the first episode. He kept watching and I didn't. Well last week he made me sit down and watch all of them on Netflix. He's right...it gets really good. Jupiter's COCK! The Gods have finally spread cheek and removed cock from ass.

John Hannah was GREAT in this. I also think my favorite character is Ashur. He's so smart.
