I don't understand what's wrong with watching a dvd. If you have a player and a TV you can watch them. If you want, you can copy them to Blu Ray or whatever in 10 years.

Man, I loved Columbia House. When I was a kid, way back in the Paleolithic Era (1974-1979), there weren't many record stores around. Columbia House was like the pre-Internet version of Amazon. You could order cassettes, records, 8-tracks, and reel-to-reels. I remember waiting expectantly for that catalog, filling out the little order card with the serial numbers, then waiting for that magic day when the small white cardboard box would come in, with my new audio cassettes.
