Yeah, yeah I know it's also marketed as "The H8teful Eight", but that's dumb.

A Taratino attempt to do an Agatha Christie murder mystery? I've loved all of his movies so far.

Bringing the first Ultra Panavision 70 release in nearly 50 years to 100 theaters has been a complicated process, with a lot of moving parts (literally)...

Liked it. Nothing that blew me away, but I think this will be one I need to gestate on for a bit and see again, before I make up my mind.

Not being negative about the movie at all - just going off the bar he set for himself.

I think I would be more apt to putting this on to rewatch some afternoon than say Django.

Put it this way, QT has reveled in the cinematic experience, and you would be a fool to not soak up his offering properly in a nice big theater - 70mm if you can.

I rather enjoyed the intermission.

That's what I'm looking for. Tarantino movies tend to have an atmosphere to 'em that fit well into a theater experience. And intermission at a 3 hour movie will be most appreciated!

The dialogue. Nobody does dialogue better than Tarantino.

Scene after scene after scene of

Character Xxx: "Why! . . . Is that . . . Mr. Yyy? Why as I live and breathe, you are a sight for sore eyes. Haven't seen you since the epic/tragic/majestic event Xyxyx on the fields/shores/summit of blah blah, blah"
