The beginning was ugly.

The rest of it was pretty fun, actually.

I blame this loss on the refs. The 4 first half turnovers didn't help but every call the refs made was against Denver. Samuel tackled Decker on a perfectly thrown deep post and the refs didn't say anything about it. If they make that call Denver wins this game.

Dumervil was held all game and didn't get a single holding call.

I actually came away from this game more convinced than ever that Denver is a Super Bowl team. Especially if our DB's learn how to catch, Ryan got lucky that Denver dropped his three picks.

The Broncos played a tough Falcons team, a powerhouse team, in their own place and slugged it out until the end.

That's what SB contenders do.

We'd have lost by 70.

Last year we had games like this against NE, Buffalo, and GB where we couldn't stop turning the ball over and we got CRUSHED. I am so stoked that we kept ourselves in it to the very end.

Peyton has had a handful of games like this, he is hard to fool but if you do fool him it is most likely a turnover.
