Chiefs have the #1 scoring defense in football after 5 weeks

We are only allowing 11.6 points per game...even more impressive is that the second place team is NE at 14 ppg. That's a sizable lead.

Some other rankings after 5 weeks...

1st in sacks
1st in passes defensed
1st in defensive touchdowns
1st in recovered fumbles
3rd in interceptions
7th in yards allowed per game
4th in pass yards allowed per game
21st in rush yards allowed per game (Philly game skewed this one)

Translation: the defense is killin it

You probably think Romo's stats in that Dallas game absolve him of his idiocy trying to push the ball downfield late in the game, resulting with him giving the football away also.

Its not about going deep every time you drop back. Its about doing what it takes to win. Smith fired 2 deep balls, for 2 huge completions, and you want to bitch about what it looked like.

Your and ****ing idiot.
Romo can be faulted a lot in his career. What happened to end the game was more a great play be a defensive player than it was a bad play by Romo.

7 for 25 throwing the ball outside the numbers over 9 yards.

Compare to a guy everyone shits on, like Romo...17 for 31 outside the numbers over 9 yards. Huge, huge difference.

I can't believe you're comparing Romo and Smith.

When the game matters in the 4th quarter, Alex Smith steps up and does his job. You can't say the same for Romo.

If it weren't for romo, they wouldn't be I t he position in the 4th. And against all thoughts, he's been the highest rated passer int he 4th quarter since 2006

And if smith would play better in the first 3 quarters, it wouldn't matter

If I'm reading that right, over 30 percent of Alex drop backs, he's under pressure.

There is a difference between trying to battle for a won, and riding a lead out. Romo is put in a defecit quite often.

Call me when Alex Smith is leader of the ****ing #2 offense, and is saddled with the #20 running game and #22 defense.

Because Romo IS.

Is that unusual? Probably relatively close to average.

He makes a mistake at critical times all the time O.city. He did last Sunday. He shut down against us a few weeks ago.

Hell, he made the costly INT in Washington in week 17 last year with the playoffs on the line and lost them that game.

Romo is a great QB in the first 3 quarters. You honestly can't trust him at all in the 4th quarter though.

He's going to break your heart every time.

He's the highest rated passer int he fourth quarter since 2006 of any qb in the nfl.

So you're wrong.
