Andre Rison was the difference in a very mediocre game between the Raida's and the Bolts. Rison caught 4-5 balls and scored a TD with about 3:00 minutes to go putting the Raida's up for good. I thought he looked really good for them. RATS!

AZ

Oak 1-0
KC 0-1
SD 0-1
Sea 0-1

I'm not bitter. If Rison was still a Chief, you would've been beat at home. I didn't say San Diego was a crappy team, but are they the caliber of the Colts? We stayed pretty even with a SB contender.

Good to be trading barbs with you...finally.

Stevie,

I'm not saying SD is in the Indy category, but they have a much better defense than does Indy.... Seau, Parella, Harrison and Dumas are excellent as is their defensive playcalling. We will get Indy next week so it will be seen how good the RAIDER defense is.

Iguana... if you say that SD can't play pass defense, well... it's obvious that you haven't seen them play.

Take away the dropped balls and Elvis is a hero. He had more dropped passes than poorly thrown passes.

Lockett should be our #1 reciever..hands down. He may not be a speed demon...BUT HE CATHES EVERYTHING! Morris looked good. And will be our #1 next year.

SD has a good D but it is basically the same D that we beat 35-0 at home last year. Remember, Rison said you guys should score 25-30 points a game with the guys you have, and ain't nothing noone can do about it.

Sort of reminded me of the puntfest that was the 7-6 Raider win two years ago with Wade Wilson throwing the long TD pass to win it.

And apparently Gannon caught a break in this game that his fumble bounced right back into his lap on that last drive, at least that was according to the radio guys.

But bottom line, you guys are 1-0. Oh well. The good news is my friend lost out on winning $7000 on his 8 game parlay because the Chiefs/Colts game was under by 3 points, and if the Raiders were going to cover (the last game on his parlay) he was going to kill me for telling him to take the over on the Chiefs game... Sure Duck he catches everything, but he struggles to get open. Indy's 5'8" corners were jamming him at the line.

Arman,

Please don't mention that 27 punt 7-6 game... that was inept football at it's best...
Today IMO, there was great defense played on both sides of the ball... I don't mind that too much as the O will come around.
It's after 2 years of watching soft zones... it was great to see man to man, agressive blitzing defense again... just my personal taste.

Maybe, but on the other hand maybe that's because you can afford to do that agains the San Diego offense and Leaf? I dunno. I don't recall the Chargers scoring much in the Oakland game last year either...
