We get it. You have zero objectivity with Kobe. For all the shit you give LeBron haters you have the same mentality with Kobe.

MJ?

When MJ had the ball in the 90s and an important game was on the line (IE playoffs) and he had the ball...EVERYONE knew the outcome. He knew he was going to make it, his teammates knew he was going to make it, his opponents knew he was going to make it, and the fans (home and away) knew he was going to make it.

I doubt we'll ever see something like that again.
Of course, he DIDN'T always make them. In fact, in the playoffs, he made roughly 50% of game winning/game tying shots. That is still insanely high, but let's not be stupid and make it out to be something that it isn't. If "everyone" felt that they knew the outcome, "everyone" was pretty stupid. In the playoffs, when it counted, it was a coin-flip.

Once again, that's incredibly great, but it's nowhere NEAR certainty.

Jordan benefits from the era of the highlight. With YouTube and social media today ever shot that a player today takes is over anayalized.

That's a reach. Jordan was an extraordinary player.

Regardless of talent level, his playoff PPG are going to be untouchable and he did it against some elite defensive Guards in a game where they were hacking the shit out of him and getting away with it. Jordan didn't benefit from anything. He was an incredible player, highlight or no highlight. If you're judging his 4th quarter performances, he wasn't just a highlight guy. He was just incredible.

Jordan won series after series with clutch play during both 3 peats.

When those games were on the line, EVERYONE KNEW who was going to win. Jordan.

Are you incapable of doing anything for yourself? Good Lord.

Year/Opponent/Game/Details

1991 Los Angeles Lakers 1 Miss
1991 Los Angeles Lakers 3 Make
1992 Portland Trail Blazers 2 Miss
1993 Cleveland Cavaliers 4 Make
1996 New York Knicks 3 Make
1996 New York Knicks 3 Miss

1997 Utah Jazz 1 Make
1997 Utah Jazz 4 Miss

Fine, I was wrong; he actually MISSED more than he made (and that includes me throwing in a make from 93.)

the 98 miss off the top of my head is ridiculous...it was a 35 foot heave with less than a second on the clock

I'll have to look at some of the others.

it also banked and went in and out...which was insane

You are wrong. It's 50%

And 50% is an absolutely OUTSTANDING percentage.
