Rank your most and least favorite characters on "The Office".

Let's go with the American version.

I'll limit this to characters who appeared on 100 or more episodes. Use the easily sortable list below to list your characters in descending order of favoritesness. I have conveniently sorted them in my own preference to subtly influence you.

Creed Bratton
Dwight Schrute
Jim Halpert
Meredith Palmer
Kevin Malone
Toby Flenderson
Ryan Howard
Kelly Kapoor
Oscar Martinez
Stanley Hudson
Pam Beesly
Angela Martin
Phyllis Vance
Michael Scott
Erin Hannon
Daryl Philbin
Andy Bernard

The collective ranking so far is....

Dwight Schrute
Jim Halpert
Michael Scott
Creed Bratton
Kevin Malone
Daryl Philbin
Meredith Palmer
Pam Beesly
Oscar Martinez
Stanley Hudson
Erin Hannon
Toby Flenderson
Angela Martin
Kelly Kapoor
Andy Bernard
Phyllis Vance
Ryan Howard

I like seeing Creed and Kevin up there, but I'm a little surprised at Daryl. I have nothing against him and he's a solid character, but he doesn't seem like he brings a lot.

I understand Michael ranking high, but his character was sometimes too unrealistic for me, which annoyed me. And I'm glad to see that others find Andy as bothersome as I do.

Daryl gets bumped up on my list as a result of some of his timely facial expressions. Like the "I can't believe I work with these people" expression.

Michael teasing Phyllis the time she got flashed in the parking lot guarantees him a spot at the top of my list. First wondering why she, of all the people in the office, was the one that got flashed. And then, the topper...him sticking his finger through the zipper of his pants.

it's not so much what Daryl brings to this particular show, I just like his type of humor.

I loved seasons 2 and 3 so much that I stuck around until the end of season 8. Unfortunately for me, I hung around so long out of habit instead of just cutting the cord that I ended up actually hating the show. All of the characters turned into caricatures, so it's hard for me to offer a fair ranking.

Sigh. Another show that I've never seen, and people say that I'd love it.

They're all pretty laid back dudes who don't offer a ton of comedic value? I don't see what you're getting at here.
