Off Season Lets Talk Guns

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

I believe in KS the requirement is 8 hours, and includes a shooting requirement.

8 hours required, 6-7 hours real-life.

You need to hit 18-25 shots on a human sized target at very close range. It will scare you how close you will be shooting.

Nice rifle, yea I've declared a truce in the AK/AR wars too each has their own plusses and minuses.

For BUIS I still like my Troy Industries.

Thanks, I am not looking to spend major bucks on upgrades, Basically all I want now is a vertical grip with light and I have a cheap Leaper red dot coming soon... If I don't like it I will put it on my 22

You should move the front sight back off the gas block. The heat could melt the plastic.

I just got home to find my MBUS sights waiting for me. I don't have a problem with them. But they are going to eventually be relegated to nothing more than back ups once I can afford an ACOG.

No, that is the gas block - it's one piece of metal. The heat will transfer directly from the barrel to the sight.

Move it back to the area in the circle and you'll have no problems.

I hope you get what you want... Basically all I want is a quick light gun for home defense, I am not interested in 300 yard shots myself.. I am fascinated with the people on this forum and their knowledge of the weapon though.. I was happy with just having my AK but when I saw it there calling my name I just had to have it...

I don't want a bunch of unnecessary shit on mine .. Got a new quadrail, hogue grip on it + the mbus sights... Waiting on my red dot scope

Want a nice vertical grip with light and thats about it
