If McIntosh could play like he did against the Dolphins on a regular basis, that would be great, but he won't, so I say we put him behind Albert. Unfortunately, the other options don't seem to be that great. I guess I would go with Richardson.

I thought that was what training camp was for. To determine the best players and to get get them to the proper position. If it's close to even, go to youth.

Herb.
Remember how he played at LT during the preseason. That was after weeks of offseason practice at that position and spending training camp at backup. He filled in marvelously. It's not like he's Will Svitek who has never shown ANY ability at any of the positions. Of those players listed, he's demonstrated the most talent to play effective offensive line. If we plugged Herb in at RT at the beginning and stuck with him in the offseason, I think it would pay off when the regular season showed up. |

I say we give Brown every opportunity to prove himself worthy of the RT spot. Herb seems like more a finesse player. He should backup Albert at LT.

This is a position on the team I've been curious about all along.
I think there is a couple of solid vets out there and imo I think they may be worth pursuing. It's just too much of a ? Colin Brown and Richardson are nice prospects and all, but I think it would be wise to sign a vet who can come in and play for a couple of years and teach these kids. Show em the ropes on what it takes to play RT in the NFL. Much like were doing at other positions like LBer, etc we should be doing with RT. |

nice post
I think you give Taylor or Brown a first shot at the position, with Sackintosh as a fall back....

If Brown cant handle it in college? Why would he be able to in the pros? Put Taylor there, let him pass or fail. Find out what you have in the guy.
