Troubleshooting a printer
In the middle of printing ADP for tonight's draft, my printer (Brother 2140) stops printing. As best I can tell, it's a communication error from my computer (XP). Tried my secretary's one (same model) and it didn't work either.

The only thing different is that I deleted Acrobat 7.0 Professional.

Tried reinstalling drivers, etc. What's the next step?

Connected by USB?

Have you tried a different USB cable?

When you say you tried your secretary's one, what do you mean? Her printer of the same model? The same printer on her computer or what?

Can you print anything else successfully or is it just this one document?

Hmm.. Is this OS X or Windows?

If it's OS X, you might try to switch the driver to a Generic Postscript driver, and see if you can print that way.

And you're saying that neither your printer, nor your secretary's printer can print anything, and this happened at the same time?
