So has anyone found a good Dayton Message board? Google gave a few but seems their either inactive or you need a membership for them.

whew - I was sweating that one. literally. The only place I can watch at work is in the gym, so as an added bonus I got in a 1300+ calorie workout on the bike, elliptical, and stair stepper.

We won it in 1952, I was 7 and don't remember it. Lost in 3 OT's in '57. Wasn't on TV. Hardly anybody had a TV.

I went to the game. Big road trip. The Metrodome was full of NDSU fans. Every section at yellow jerseys in it. Great atmosphere. Kansas would have preferred not such a big NDSU crowd, but they are a big time program and they should be able to beat such a small time school almost all of the time. The game was good - and at least wasn't a blow out. NDSU did not have an answer for Aldrich. And Collins - that player is good. It was the first time I had seen Woodside. Give him any hint of a lane and the dude is gone. Very impressed. I thoroughly enjoyed the game - knew it would probably be a lost - and at least it wasn't a blow out. If NDSU had played flawless basketball when they were behind by three - something like 59-56 near the end, could've been interesting. Just a fun, fun game.

I remember that... actually thought about it the other day when some douche on ESPN said he liked some team to pull an upset because they did so back in 2001. Packer's was much, much better though. It's dumb enough when someone, for example, comes up with the conclusion that Kansas can't be UNC because they only beat Davidson by 2, but Packer's 50-year linkage was classic.
